Welcome! My name is Patricia (Pat) Sheveland and I am so pleased that you are visiting my site. I am looking forward to sharing a little bit about me, but more importantly, I hope you will find value in the connection we are forming here. A connection to help you move forward on your path to have a life filled with purpose and joy!
The best way for me to describe myself is this way: I AM a Life Purpose Guide, working in partnership with you as you create a happier, more purpose-filled life .
You are checking out my site because you are interested in what life coaching is, and how it might help you – right? Your curiosity is most likely because you are feeling like you could be happier, healthier, or more in sync with what it is you truly want in this life.
I also view myself as a Healing Guide. I believe that we all hold the ability to heal ourselves, emotionally and physically, which is an important aspect of having a fulfilling life. My role is to support you and share tools that can help you become your very own personal healer!
I Help People Learn How To Heal Themselves!
I know my life purpose is to help others. I do this by providing support, insight, and some “hands-on” tools, helping my clients move forward with ease, to a healthier and more satisfying life.
Of course, every one of you is unique, meaning you will have your own vision of what you want your best life to be. My job as your coach is to help you A.A.C.T. Today!®:
Assess. Adjust. Commit. Transform.
So what do I bring to the table? I am a Registered Nurse in the States of Minnesota and Colorado, a Certified Life Coach through the International Coaching Federation, and a Certified Trainer and Group Practice Leader for Spring Forest Qigong. I also am an ordained minister, a motivational speaker, and an author.
Most importantly, I have personally experienced many life-altering events. I truly understand and “get it”, when my clients are sharing their stories and the challenges they face in their lives.
As a daughter who has been a care-giver for aging parents, I understand the grief from the death of a parent, and also the challenges of living with, and caring for an elderly parent.
As a divorced, single parent (many years ago), I understand the feelings of failure and confusion that arise when a marriage dissolves. I also understand the challenges as a wife and mom in blending two families, as we worked our best to create a new family experience.
Finally, as a former executive in a corporation, I also understand how careers can have a significant impact on our overall life satisfaction.
My hope is that you will take a few minutes to check out the rest of my website and before you leave, do one thing:
